I wanted a more challenging job in my field and one day this year the opportunity came for an interview with an american company. At the interview I met a charming man (one of the two) and he was goingto live in Riga Latvia for the next three years as the operations manager for the company. I was immediately attracted to Richard and he acted as though he was not interested. Two weeks later we met for a few hours and talked about the job and he wasnted to know more about me as an employer and to have good employee relations. A week later and we started the office and it seemed to be fine, just waiting on equipment and getting everything arranged. As two months go by, I know RIchard as my boss and as becoming a friend. Then I realized it was much more than that for me, I was actually falling for this guy. I went on about my business and talked with him during the day at the office and could not take my mind off him. Then one Friday night I was about to leave for the weekend and I told him that I knew this would be difficult , but that I was very attracted to him and wanted to get to know him outside of the office. He was shocked, but then conceded that YES, he also really liked me although he was not going to say anything as we were co workers. I left as my ride had shown up and I had plans for the weekend. I called him on Saturday and talked to him for hours and again on Sunday and I knew in my heart - HE WAS THE ONE! When we met on Monday he acted as usual in the morning and I asked him if we could have lunch together and he agreed. While at lunch I asked him why he had not said anything to me about our calls on the weekend and he said he thought maybe I wold have a change of heart. I said do not be silly! So we went ot dinner that night and from there the roamnce bloomed, he gave me flowers at the office that he picked out and got on his way to office. Next he would send me nice emails and text messages on my cell phone. Months went by very happlily and we have now made plans to marry in the spring of 2003. Everything going perfect!!!</div> <bR> <div> Until the others come from America to office and Richard told them of our situation. The other bosses had made suggestive talk to me and one wanted me for his son and I was offended. When they knew more about us they had Richard fire me. Can you believe these people? So Richard decided to hre me as his personal assistant and pay me from his own wages. They found out about this three weeks later and decided to punish Richard. They were jealous of us and that is were the problems really began. They cut Richards wages and then were delaying the papers he needed and insurance certificate he needed for his VISA extension for Latvia. He worked at it and then there was a big confrontation with Richard and another of the partners and the other two had decided to close the office and their flat. Richard had to leave Latvia within 72 hours as he had no VISA or Work Permit now. </div> <bR> <div> So My Darling went back to the USA and without a job for either of us. He could not collect any unemployment because something about working in foriegn country. I could not collect any either becuase I had worked there under 9 months. Now the situation becomes worse, Richard had spent his money to go to Latvia for this company and lost thousands of dollars, back in the USA he cannot find a good job as the employment market for telelcommunications is very bad. After he had gotten to the USA I discovered that I am pregnant with our child. We had used condoms, but we now know that their is a chance they do not always work. So we are now apart for over 2 months and Richard has sent money to help support me and family as best as he can. He stays with friend and is very unhappy with us being apart. </div> <bR> <div> More Bad News, my father has been laid off and now we depend on my mother only for her job and support. We owe much on mortgage and we fear losing our home. </div> <bR> <div> I Need Help! I need my Richard to be with me as my husband and get him started in his career again here in Latvia. I need to help support my family also. Trouble for me is I can not find work when pregnant, our country make employers pay for time off with full wages and we must tell if we are with child when hired. So no one will hire me. </div> <bR> <div> I Need an Angel to come to us and help us get back on our feet, My Richard calls everyday for 5 minutes to talk and he is doing everything he can to support me, but he can not find the work.
